Facing Connectivity issues if I connect a additional Tenda router as access point to Jio Router

The range of jiofiber is very low, so I connected an additional Tenda router using Lan cable to extend range. But it is creating problems for me. Sometimes sites stop working, would have to use VPN to fix it, sometime my setup box show message that device is blocked, and unblock it from app, which is not the case.

If I raise the issue with Customer care, they say, remove the additional router, or use jio mesh if necessary.

I raised request for router change, using old one jc04032, but they insisted it was setup box problem and replaced setup box, nothing changed, still getting issues.

Any help?

What's the config on your tende router and which port is it connected to?

I don't have access to router's setting (It's my brother's) but I can connect to router. It is connected to 192.168.29.20 IP address. I don't what is port and how to find that.

netstat give me this
TCP 192.168.29.45:50404 40.70.161.102:https ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.29.45:50408 52.143.86.214:https TIME_WAIT
TCP 192.168.29.45:50409 20.198.118.190:https ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.29.45:50435 20.231.121.79:http ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.29.45:50436 20.44.229.112:https ESTABLISHED

Are you sure the dhcp on the device is disabled?
Port as in; its on the LAN port right?
Also disable all firewall settings.

I can access my jiorouter config, just not Tenda router one.

EDIT: I connected wifi on PC, then go to network setting in control panel and selected details of wifi, It says 'Yes' on DHCP Enabled

Yeah. You are making this far too complicated.

Take out the Tenda router do a factory reset.
Connect it directly to your computer on the LAN port.
Login, remove all configs like firewall, DHCP and even wifi for the time being.
If some UPNP, portforwarding enabled by default, disable that too.
Now go to the LAN section and manually change the IP to 192.168.29.252 subnet 255.255.255.0 (assuming you jio router is using the default)
Take MAC address of the LAN port of tenda and assigned a dhcp reservation on your jio router or change your dhcp block size to 100-150. This ensures somebody else does not takes the same IP.
Connect the device to from jio to tenda (LAN to lan)
You should be able tonlogin to tenda from jio network now.
Enable wifi. Done

Yes, that is correct.
All config is for Tenda..
Only this line is for Jio
Take MAC address of the LAN port of tenda and assigned a dhcp reservation on your jio router or change your dhcp block size to 100-150. This ensures somebody else does not takes the same IP.

If you are using another router with different DNS and DHCP from, you have to make sure configuring some additional DNS entry if your own DNS server (if you have any) or you have to use third party DNS service provider like NextDNS which has option to create DNS rewrite. I have explained it in following post with details information on how to setup.

Which NTP server used by Jio Set top Box? | Reliance JioFiber

Before I make changes, I also want to mention that there are cameras connected to router as well. So is there some setting I want to keep so I don't mess up things. The Camera was setup by local engineer, I don't know how to do it myself, so I am little hesitant in resetting router.

I am uploading series of images of available settings in router.

Currently it's set to static

Attach a LAN cable from Jio Fiber router to your Tenda route in WAN port and set it as dynamic.

Next thing you have to do is to set DNS server (NextDNS - Follow the instruction provided earlier) details in your DHCP configuration.

That's all, this will do all, nothing else to change, all your connected devices will work and you will bypass Jio DNS
