Download/clone this GitHub - zainarbani/ztelnet to a folder and open a cmd terminal there and execute this command factorymode_crack.exe -l xxx open -i 192.168.1.1 -u admin -pw admin
You will get a a user and pass use it to connect to telnet

Thanks . is -pw admin as well?
I have changed it to something else say e.g. pass1234

so the command for me is factorymode_crack.exe -l xxx open -i 192.168.1.1 -u admin -pw pass1234
Still get the same error Enter 192.168.1.1 Telnet FactoryMode Fail!

you used the exe from the github page i linked right and in an empty folder?
if you have chaged the password for the web ui login then u need to use that
or maybe try after a reset if you can

so i was successfully able to unlock the ZTE F670Lv9.0:

1. go to this page and download/clone the repo GitHub - douniwan5788/zte_modem_tools: tools for zte modem

2. open a terminal in the downloaded folder and enter the following command

"python -m venv .venv source ./.venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
python zte_factroymode.py -u admin -p admin --ip 192.168.1.1 telnet"

you shoud get some username and pass use it to login to telnet
for the user you should copy after = and before & and for pass you need to copy after = and before \

3. after login use this command "setmac 4 198/upgradetest sdefconf 198" this will change the webui config like stock and unlock the ont

Note: after succesful unlocking al the settings will be reverted to default

by default its admin:admin unless you changed it
thats why i didnt specify

admin was always accesible in webui but the thing is airtel locked it with something regioncode that locks the ont to region specific isp 35 being india so basically u just need to chnage it to 198 which is a stock manufacture region code which will unlock eveyrthing

So on mine admin: admin webui login is locked or changed by isp.

Should i use user:user?
