Experience with high speed plans on Jio Fiber

I recently switched to 500Mbps plan on Jio Fiber but the speeds do not seem to cross even 400Mbps(except fast(dot)com). If you are subscribed to a 500Mbps/1Gbps plan, are you using the usual Jio router or is it different ?

Maybe the nearest port is saturated , try raising the issue with the team at pgportal , i am sure they will help you , mostly what happens is that , 100 mbps is the most subscribed plan on jio fiber so they try to adhere to that , i can confirm no such issue here but cant confirm the same with speed test as i recently downgraded to 150 mbps

@WandereR are you using wired connection? with cat6 cable? +capable pc/laptop?

Yes, I'm using a CAT6 cable(1Gbps). In the past I've tested speeds over 500Mbps too(not Jio Fiber).

Check downloading any files or download any game from steam or epic games. If you still getting same speeds as speed test result then raise a complaint.

JCO4032 , got 80% of the advertised speed on 5G Band , can you confirm yours is a Tier 1 or 2 or 3 City? Makes a lot of difference

It's a Tier 3 city.

I dint subscribe to a 500 Mbps connection, but I get 285 Mbps on a 300 Mbps connection.
