Excitel performance on Imgur

I have been noticing this for a few weeks now. While browsing reddit, Imgur images are insanely slow to load on Excitel connectivity. Images hosted on reddit's own servers load practically instantly. This creates a rather annoying browsing experience.

Anyone else noticing this?

Imgur images on this forum are cached by the forum software so they should load at the same pace as forum itself.

Maybe it's an issue with Imgur?

Relay doesn't load Imgur images on reddit for me, takes time. Same on the Imgur app.

excitel also has issues loading google ads on websites. it's kind of annoying to be honest. and strange ad servers should also be peered on excitel network lol.

Yup. Had to test through VPN to confirm if the problem is with Excitel or Imgur.

their api is somehow working better now so i can upload at good speeds. but loading their website or images from their servers is painfully slow still.

i can't use reddit because of this shit. gif keep loading at 2G Speed and sometime time out.

same. thankfully a lot of reddit posts are using reddit's own hosting these days. but still around 20% of image links are still on imgur.
