Excitel Broadband Review: Worst Internet Service Provider (With Screenshots)

  1. There is no call/visit from the Excitel yet to fix the issue.
  2. There is no call from the Excitel yet.
  3. I'm still getting huge packet loss (20-30%) and very slow internet speeds (1-15Mbps).
  4. I came to know that LCO still doesn't have Engineer (I suspect).
  5. @philip marlowe is not just ready to come up online and take a look.
  6. It's the 7th Day (today) and the issues are not fixed.

31st Jan - 5th Feb : Speed Issues

9th Feb - 11th Feb: Speed Issues (Continued..)

13th Feb - 14th Feb: Speed Issues

16th Feb - 16th Feb: Connectivity Issue (Fiber Cut)

19th Feb - 19th Feb: Connectivity Issue (No Global Ticket)

25th Feb - 26th Feb: Connectivity Issu

26th Feb - Today (2nd March): Huge Packet Loss & Very Slow Internet Speed

19 out of 29 Days, Internet didn't work properly.

It is 8 days since I've made the complaint about the High Packet Loss and Slow Speed with the Excitel, Excitel Nodal and the Local Teams.

But there is no fix/help/update so far. I called the support numerous of times but all they say is the repeated lines.

I would have switched if I had option. I talked to 10 ISPs in last 3 days but only Hathway and Excitel are available here.

I visited the known-shopkeepers to ask if there is anyone who provides internet. But there is no.
 
^ Yeah, I visited him. But, he doesn't provide Internet Services. He only provides Cable TV. He used to provide before but now he doesn't.

@philip marlowe I hardly have 3-4 days left for my rene
 
^ I've been paying online (since it was my first renew).

What happens when I don't pay for the Excitel (Don't renew)?

@Sushubh Does Excitel Team or someone calls for the renew or something like this?

I am using Triple Play....... it is good and most probably available all over Delhi.

 
@ijsa Do they have any sort of advertising holdings/boards on the pole in your area?

Since, I don't see any in my area.

Secondly, What upload and download do you get and what is your connection type (normal or ftth)?

Third, What ping do you get to the Excitel Delhi and ACT Delhi Server (would be awesome if you could share the screenshot of the speedtest.net for both via Ethernet).

Hey @Sushubh If you have any idea. I'm getting low download-speed specifically at the night now. Like around 7pm it starts to drop and until 2-3am it becomes normal.

Worst time of download-speed is 9pm-12am when the speeds are hardly 5Mbps-10Mbps.

Packet Loss becomes as high as 30% at this time and ping increases by 3-4ms too.

Checked directly on the LAN Wire of Excitel Connected to the Laptop with Dialup Connection.
