Excitel Broadband down due to power exhaust in the area

I just noticed this. Internet has been down for more than 5 hours now. My Airtel Broadband ended up 6-7GB usage because of this 😱

This also explains why the net at my friend's place was not working when I was outside his place an hour ago and my phone showed that internet was down on his wi-fi 😱penedeyewink: i thought he had messed up router settings again.

The app has a keep me updated feature now. Too bad it does not have an ALERT ME WHEN THERE IS A KNOWN OUTAGE feature.

My connection has been down for almost 24 hrs made several calls to lco and he assured me that it will be resolved by 8 pm yesterday however he did not pickup the after 8 pm

it is still down so the downtime has now lasted for more than 7 hours.

Just hope for the best it will be rectified today, otherwise it will be done tomorrow. They take considerable amount of time to rectify faults, depends on LCO, how knowledgable he is.

It was up by the time I woke up that day. So by Saturday evening it was working in my area.
