That's because she is born as an Elemental. Elementals are decent beings and look like humans. Thanos was born with a Deviant gene. Deviants and Eternals are always at war. That's why Thanos looks weird. Thanos's parents are also Eternals so Thanos being a deviant was an exception.

Eternals and Deviants both came from Celestial beings. Marvel already introduced a Celestial in the MCU - Star Lord's father in GOTG Vol 2. Star-Lord got Celestial's powers for a while but lost them when he killed his father and destroyed the planet. Celestials are older than Odin and Asgardians as well. They are basically Marvel's version of Gods.
 
Now I know whey they call it Marvel Cinematic "Universe". They are having their own parallel Universe 😀
 
Or maybe not since he mentioned it as a Fiscal 2022 release which starts from October 1. lol
 

Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings is also rumored to be going simultaneous Black Widow style release I heard.
 
Nope. Bob Chapek just confirmed that Shang-Chi is an experiment and will remain theatres only. But it will be released on Disney+ after a 45 day window. So expect it on Hotstar on October 18.

Also, Eternals will maintain its 2021 release but will wait how Shang-Chi performs.

Who releases a final trailer right after the teaser trailer? Forget Shang-Chi. Eternals is starting to look like Disney's experiment.
