Windows 3.1 required 4 mb of ram
windows 95 32 mb of ram
windows 2000 128 mb
and windows xp 256 (I also know nothing works on 256 in windows xp)
so why you think ram is increasing with every new windows ?

well.....not all require software firewalls...
