ESET keeps deleting files i download with magnet links.

Hypothetically lets say am downloading windows 7 home premium.

the magnet link am using also contains ,lets say , windows activator and ESET smart security 4 i have in my system keeps deleting the file ( even when magnet link is active) and so the magnet links stops downloading saying "Error: the system cannot find the file specified" :blink3:

The only way i can see to stop this is disable ESET for a short time and then "Force-recheck" the magnet link so that it checks the files already downloaded and start downloading remaining parts 😕

Any other suggestions are welcomed 🙂

try this 1st > Check the eset firewall settings and disable it (enable windows one)

i dont think its related to firewall. (i have both windows and eset firewall up)

I tried and same old result.

then check in eset settings for web browser settings, i think u will find something. Used few yrs ago so i dont remember sorry :blink3:

Many scanners have updated their definitions to include cracks as viruses

No other way. I used to face the same problem. It takes the crack as a virus/spyware/malware and delete it. You can delete automatic deletion but that would mean for files like autorun.inf aswell and other viruses. I basically switched to kaspersky. 🙂

Eset has been doing that for a while now and was forced to switch to comodo after that
