Error while adding account on Selfcare Portal (help needed) :(

Try All india no. 1800-180-1500 from your non-bsnl mobile/Landline and ask to update phone number. it will take 24 hrs to update your mobile number.
1504 is karnataka zone number so pls try All india number from your non-bsnl mobile/Landline
 
Just add hyphen sign (-) in service id, same as it is shown in your bill, example:- my service id is my bharat fibre landline number (016x8-2x529x), same as it is shown in my bill.

This method solved the problem in bsnl self service (service_id issue) . by using (hyphen ‐) and not (underscore _ )

2022: For those struggling now, it's the issue with service/customer ID, the service ID is just your telephone no., but the most important part is how you enter it, for me, adding a 0 to the beginning and a hyphen (-) before the last 6 digits worked.. try it and some other combination if it doesn't work
