I am getting error 720 while connecting broadband.... my adsl modem is in bridge mode. modem is ok as bb connection is fine when modem configured in pppoe mode . bsnl people want me to format os. is there any other option???? OS installed -win98 and win2000 both having same problem.
Have you updated windows 98 from Windows Update site ?support stopped since july 2006. No validation required.Mention modem model. Whether unable to connect in both modes. ( always on or dialup mode )Start run type cmd ipconfig ( to check whether your TCP/Ip settings are ok )Better select Automatic IP address
