EPG: Gift to the HTPC Community

Here’s my gift to the HTPC community of India: EPG.

After eight months of persuasion with the EPG provider I have managed to get the Electronic Program Guide for 300+ Indian Channels. The EPG will be provided in XMLTV format and the medium of distribution is through epgstrem dot net’s XMLTV Guide Pack (epgStream.net Support Forum • View topic - DOWNLOAD >> XMLTV: Guide Pack

Hi SrikanthAlthough i wasn't able to see the EPG you have created yet, But your work is commendable.But i wonder how much HTPC population is there in India,If you also provide the EPG in RSS format even non HTPC community will be greatly benefited as they don't need to always sit in front of their TV to track their favorite programs.

For you, I would say the most wonderful resource at this time is ZipAZap Indian TV Guide, Indian TV Listings, TV Schedules, TV Timings. They have EPG for almost all the channels. They even give you free SMS reminders and email alerts etc. It is the absolute best in India at this moment IMO.
