Energy Efficient Ceiling Fans

Wanted to try Superfan, but the other thread on Superfan is not very encouraging. I'm presently using Usha Technix which is a 45w fan, but I'm not very happy with the quality, 2 of them has gone bad in 2 yrs of usage.

Here are the options I found:

1. Superfan - 35w
2. Orient Ecotech 32w - Very high price
3. Atomberg's Gorilla - 28w
4. ...

Any experience with Orient, or anything else in the market ?

^ but u mentioned noise issue ? I've a old fan in office which I intend to replace, it is making so much noise (mostly from air I guess) that talking on phone gets very difficult.

it is noisy on slower speeds. but comparable with regular fans. i was talking more about not facing any of the issues nishant is facing with his unit.

also... if you ordered directly from the company, make sure to tell them to not send the fan through speedpost. which is where my fan disappeared. ask them to send it through a courier company. they sent mine through gati after my complaint.

They sent me replacement units via Gati and reverse pickup was also done by same company. My dad says it's fun to watch the :speechless: on the faces of Gati guys every time they come :rofl:
