Still working here .. I guess they are disabling the old protocal area by area 🙁Why don't you call them up and tell them that you are a linux user, and the official clients are not working?

Do not use validatelogin2.php. Use validatelogin.php. I believe validatelogin2.php is for the newer protocol (as is evident from the xml file gotten from the initial contact with SAM)


Probably sify intends to keep it that way for some time so that they don't have to write a whole new dialer for linux/Mac or possibly even a cross platform dialer.

PS: I've logged in right now using the old protocol dialer I wrote. So no problems here yet. Haven't tried (super|easy)sify yet so don't know whether they pick up the login URLs from the xml sent or have them hard-coded or anything else.
 
earlier if we used "val....2.php" we wud get some other errori think "Data format eerror"so they suerly hav updated their servers
 
I guess the old proto is still working in my area, so ES is working. From what you guys are telling me, it may not last *sigh*
