Hey why r u worried yaar. U asking silly questions thats why people like puja339 is replying in this way. BSNL is providing u internet service right. They have no interest in what u do with ur bandwidth. I think they have better works to do rather than keeping watch on what people do.If they start to monitor do u think anyone will continue with DATAONE.Inshort they provide us bandwidth and our motto shud be to use it. Thats it.Starting this post by u gives no sense dear.Enjoy downloading ANYTHING.............

@Saji

Hi how are you...

And about the topic...

BSNL does not monitor any traffic unless otherwise there is a legal query. However, BSNL reserves the right to terminate the connection if there is any illegal traffic. You may read the conditions that you have signed up prior to taking the connection. Ignorance of them is not an excuse.

Here goes a paragraph in the rules:-

RIGHT TO TERMINATE SERVICES:
1. BSNL reserves the right to disconnect the service to any customer in case there is sufficient evidence of the customer intentionally or unintentionally using the service in the manner which would adversaly impact BSNL or BSNL's network.
2. The customer shall be responsible for using the service only for legal and appropriate purposes.
3. BSNL reserves the right to terminate the services in the event of non-payment of bills issued by BSNL in accordance with the tariff plans opted by the customer and the extent of usage or any default on the part of the customers.

And one more rule that may interest you:-

4. BSNL is not responsible for material any person (including household members of the subscriber) may receive or transmit via the Internet, or for anything bought or sold via the Internet, or for any other result of an action taken by anyone using its service.

I have just cut and pasted the content from the rules that you sign when you apply for a broadband connection..

Regards

PS:_ FInally the local office has no method or means to monitor your browsing habbits... Be assured about this. They at the most may have a normal terminal like you have with you..

someone says local office has no controls and someone is saying only the main servers has controls of monitoring what is the truth man?

and further please explain puja's whole message and she is also saying that "and if u don't stop they will report ur activities to the authorities and may be also to ur parents""and if u don't stop they will report ur activities to the authorities and may be also to ur parents"[/b]

It depends from exchange to exchange , one of the guys from my exchange called up my friend who is having 900 plan and asked him why there is no usage, as the record show there inst been much trafic , my friend said he doesnt get much time , cause he spends most of the time at office , the BSNL guy recomended my friend to go for home 500 then. lolDid u recommend shutting down game package1 to BSNL after reading how much ppl were downloading using it @ friend , loljust joking 🙂
