Docomo announced excellent 3G post paid packs.99/- 300 MB149/- 512 MB199/- 1024 MB.It would be great if Docomo changes post paid smart life plans similar to pre- pay.Present post paid smart life plans useful for highly talking not good for data users.

Aircel Effect 😀

where have you seen this there no initiamtion on website ? how did you arrive at this conclusoon please link. currently on tata docomo website 200 500 MB350 750 MB500 1.25GB751 2 GB1001 5 GB2001 15 GB

good one
but
Postpay packs have to be added to existing Small Screen plans and cannot be bought independently.
what does this mean ?

For other voice plans, data rate will be as per the bill plan.

what catch is this ?

so I have to get a new postpaid card with these 3g as extra plan ? I didnt get it how it works ?
any body got this one yet ?

As per my understanding, these data packs can be added to any voice or smart life plans. If you want only data pack not any other voice plans, it is not allowed. If you are opted a Data pack along with 3G smart life plans, it will be 1p/10kb for out of bundle usage. If you opted a Data pack along with other 2G voice plans, it will be as per your existing plan for out of bundle usage.

so least postpaid plan in 199, so it will be 199+199 for 1 gb thats equals to 400 for BSNL 1gb... this is without call charges so it will be 19++call charges+199 > 400 = 1 GB.this for people who dont want to change provider like me so I guess not worth unless yu got already a card with post-paid plan for cheaper.

I didn't understand your calculations.Any way it is upto individual interest & own calculations.

the thing is you cant take this as a seperte plan right, imagine for person who is having a ipad, he would not need a voice plan. But for cheap 3g, he will opt for docomothen he will have to get the least rent plan which is 199/month on top of that he will have to get 199 plan for 1 gb for him total cost per month would be 398 for rent only if he uses the card for emergency or anything like that to call some one the bill will go up 398+ calling charges etc where as with BSNL you get 400 straight for 1 gb so nothing different here .
