hello,

i think the MTNL DNS servers are:

203.94.227.70
203.94.243.70

I found something even better at http://www.opendns.com/ , use these instead:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

It feels a bit faster, or it could be my imagination.

yup...it is your imagination... they're based in San Fransisco!

But its definetly safer....especially since phishing's getting more rampant in India.

This should help you for the faster bit

MTNL DNS servers can sometimes become slow slowing the overall speed! I tried the Windows local DNS cache software mentioned on that thread posted but one time it stopped working completely for some reason, causing sites to not load for me so I uninstalled it. Thanks for the San Francisco based servers. Will try them out.

Also try out Verizon's DNS Servers while you're at it. Very stable.4.2.2.14.2.2.24.2.2.34.2.2.44.2.2.54.2.2.6
