DNA-A211-I router lan help

hey guys..
am usin the DNA-A211-I router.....was messing with my network settings...actually tryin to setup a home network for myself n i was able to do it..n evn the connection was fine but until yest. nyt that the pc had no net connection..couldnt even ping the router from pc...its connected through the cable to the router but tho the wireless connection works very fine....but if i connect the laptop from lan cable into a different lan jack on the router it doesnt connect :wall: any help guys of where can it go wrong ??or do i just hav to reset the router??

p.s i dun think it has nythin to with with network neighbourhood?
n evn the arp of the router page displays the ip address of pc n also the mac id....i dint mess with the router settings ny time recent tho...Device Info -- ARP

actually nope(removed the linux partition)...the problem is on windows itself...the netbook has win7 n pc has win xp atm....n Board ID: 96338W-20P2

even if i set it on dhcp....the ip address isn't gettin assigned by the router...

p.s in router diagnostics page this is given tho
Test your ENET1 Connection: PASS
 
Post ipconfig /all data.
In TCP IP properties select
Obtain IP address automatically .'
In modem/router enable NAT and DHCP.
the link for wa3002-g4 is a good reference.

Usually we try to connect wifi router
withLan/ethernet port. in laptop.
Then go for WIfi settings unsecured.
Then the security keys.

update: hey lol thanks for ur help...all i had to do was off n on the router n it worked :thumbsup::redface: i dunno y this problem occurred tho but would be gud to find out...
 
Also disable IPV6 in TCP/IP properties windows 7 ??Check under Management menu item client Tr_069.If enabled disable it.
