Hi Friends, I m using iti dna a211 modem and ZTE zxdsl 531 b(Borrowed), but i am unable to access the configuration page just by going to the address 192.168.1.1. page just don't open up.Neither my pc is detecting my modem in network & sharing center, but i can connect internet by lan using broadband connection.....Please Help.......

Both DNa A212-I and ZTE 531B are similar. ( Minor changes possible )

Create a wireless network in computer ( same as a LAN network )
Confirm you can see some other SSID's or not .
2.
In Computer START RUN type cmd Ok
New window
Type ipconfig /all
The default gateway for modem/router is shown.
usually 192.168.1.4
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1 modem access.

3. When connected to Internet
( Presume in PPPoE mode userid/pw stored in wan page of modem )
type in address bar What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
OR
Current IP Check


sAY 117.193.15.234.
Retype it again in address bar.
A window may open to access the router
admin admin.

4.WIFI
You can use an application called "connectify" to make your laptop as an AP
(Access point for other laptops/smartphones etc within range.
