I have a D-Link DIR-615 router with Airtel 999 plan. I am using 2 laptops over this router. When i share data between laptops speed is only around 1 MBPS but my router supports upto 54MBps. When I connect laptop through cross cable i get transfer speed upto 10 MBPs b/w 2 laptops.How to increase transfer speed between 2 systems in a lan ( DIR 615).
 
well you need to place the laptop as close to the router as possible.. as distance increases, speed decreases..
