disconnecting airtel..getting bsnl

hey..i ve been an airtel customer for over 6 yrs my plan was morning 1 mbps and night 2 mbps but now.. they just provide me with 512 kbps... i had no fup since i was an old cusotmer but recently got fuped over by them......i just wanted to know if there are any "old" bsnl customers....who get arnd 1mbps - 2mbps for arnd say 1300-1500 no fup... let me insist "old" un changed plan. i know some of u might say its not possible to get an old connection.. but i can pull through some influence in the bnsl dept. so if any1 could give me their old plan detail which has no fup.. tnx again! -sriiram
 
BSNL never had any such plans, just 512kbps unlimited, everything else has FUPs.
 
BSNL has no fup only on the 750 plan. There are other higher speed plans with high fup limits or no fup provided you are ready to pay.That said the 600 combo plan has 2 mbps night unlimited.
 
if there are any CDMA towers near your place then go for EVDO for 750 UL else go for the ADSL 512 plan for the same priice

What is EVDO?
 

EvDO is wireless internet by BSNL. It has some good plans provided your tower supports EvDO, if not, speed is limited to 144 Kbps.
 
@StandAlone - your statement is incorrect. Check these hi-end unlimited plans without any FUP.

I know these prices are far away from public(home users) reach.

2 Mbps Unlimited Monthly Charges (Rs) 9000
4 Mbps Unlimited Monthly Charges (Rs) 15000

I wouldn't really call them something for home users.
 
The point is your statement was factually incorrect.

Only if you choose to nitpick and ignore the bit about "Combo BB Plans for both Home & Business Users"
