Anyone having idea about difference between Linksys PAP2 and SPA-3102. I understand that SPA-3102 can forward VOIP calls to PSTN number. Is it possible on MTNL network, or is it network independant.
SPA 3102 -- 1 FXS port ( to which u can connect ordinary telephone instrument) --1 FXO port ( to which u connect ur telephone line from exchange)Result U can route VoiP calls to PSTN and vice-versaPAP2 -- 2 FXS ports no FXO port -- no PSTN functionalityAnother difference between 3102 and PAP2 is that 3102 has inbuilt router PAP2 is plain ATASPA 3102 is configurable so u can match its parameters to the telephone line parameters..which means that it can work on most PSTN systems in the world
