Desktop via LAN; Laptop via Wireless

Hi All, I am connecting Desktop to Huwaei dataone modem from BSNL to connect to Internet via LAN. Also is being able to connect Laptop via wireless to the same and connect to Internet.But I want to do both at the same time i.e. desktop being connected via LAN and laptop being connected via Wireless. Please suggest. Regards and Thanks.
 
enable DHCP in LAN under http://192.168.1.1

Hi Mac, Thanks for help.I followed the DHCP enablement. Now desktop(connected via LAN) gets ip 192.168.1.2; laptop gets 192.168.1.3 via wireless.But from laptop, I am not being able to connect to BB(getting error 678) after desktop connects to BB.Also from desktop, I can ping laptop but not the other way round. Any suggestion/resolution is very welcome. Regards
