@manu1991 Paytm is among one of the companies who got this contract to update dmrc payment system, at present paytm supports qr based tickets for dmrc airport line. Paytm supports nfc based payment on android as far i know, don't have a nfc phone to confirm though.

Smart cards machines are difficult to maintain is what I've gathered.

Recently I've come across many issues while traveling using metro, most are related to the smart cards and the gates.

The machine registered that I have put my smart card on it, but it didn't let me pass. Had to visit the counter, because the smart card stopped working. The machine was basically broken: wasn't opening the gates for people to pass. I saw many people stuck in the same situation because of one faulty machine and I told them to visit the counter and not to use that specific machine again.

Experienced something similar at Noida, the machines were not able to detect the smart card at all. Had to try other machines and eventually one of them worked.
