You have to buy the tokens at the counter and the more it travels around, it increases the chance of virus spread? The token counters can become a hotspot.
But the same could be said about smart cards, the machines where we manually process the recharges can become a hotspot too. Until and unless they're allowing Paytm recharges to directly reflect in the smart cards, I don't see a very big difference in safety here.
