Dark horses disrupt DTH race order

It seems each DTH operators are showing their face against each other....Mobile Operators are showing unity....If all the DTH oeprators come together in terms of transponder sharing it would be great for all the customers.....

All DTH providers need more satellite .. and use multiple LNB ..
Tht is the norm all over the world and won't be any different in India .. DTH providers just can't have a single satellite to meet the demand ..

Actually they found a solution before few months that TS & DISH TV MEPEG - 2, RDTV & SDTV MEPG-4, D2H & ADTV DVB-2 will use eachother's satellite to face the problem but they didnt step ahead. That was very good Idea but nothing happen hope it will be successful.

Its technically not possible to share transponders if the satellites r located more than 15 degree apart .. You have to realign the dish or use a much bigger dish .. Add to tht the encryption method of each DTH is different ..So purchasing transponders on a satellite, which is nearby the current one, is the only viable solution ..

Why there is no service like cable tv system in DTH where we can directly be customer of multi Satellite (hiring channels) & choose separately channels from the satellite & pay directly to the satellite. Unique identity of customer will his viewing card number like Mobile number. In that case we can enjoy many FTA channels too.
