Do you have a plasma TV or a crt? AFAIK, burn in only happens on plasma/crt/oled panels.

DTH operator logo in video cannot be removed by any means.
Thankfully Airtel's DTH logo position is different for different channels.

d2h logo is pretty good imo (much transparent) compared to others like Big (LOL), airtel and Tata Sky. I didnt even noticed till now the op pointed out.

Different question. D2H offers DD 5.1 audio for many of their HD channels. I've connected my STB to the TV via HDMI. When I select the DD 5.1 audio, there's no sound. CC says that 5.1 output is only possible with co-axial and optical cables. Why's it not possible with the superior HDMI cable? Any fix?

HDMI can pass DD 5.1 surround sound, but it needs capable receiver on other side. Is your TV capable of decoding Dolby 5.1? If not you need to connect sound system which supports it by using Coaxial or Optical connector.

Yes. The TV is capable of decoding both DD 5.1 and DTS. I've tried via USB.
It does appear that the problem is at D2H's end. Their STBs aren't passing through DD 5.1 via HDMI.
