Core 2 Duo Overheating

If i use sofwares like speedfan, core temp , they report the idle temperature of both the cores at around 46 deg CelsiusWhen I ran windows media encoder, the temp jumped to 58 degress within 3 minutes of encoding. Is it normal??????interestingly, if I go to my BIOS, I see my idle temp is around 35 Calso my Graphics card Nvidia reports temp of around 62 degrees idle.Are these normal????
