Configuring Bridge mode in Huawei HG8120C

Hi All,

I am trying to configure Bridge mode in my Huawei HG8120C, so that I can utilize PPPoE mode from my Asus Router. I changed to Bridge WAN Mode and disabled DHCP on LAN Port 1. However I am getting incorrect credentials, when I am trying to connect from both Laptop as well as Router. But I am pretty sure credentials are correct since I have configured it myself in ONT and is working fine.

Can anyone help with settings used (DHCP, WAN Page etc). Any other setting to lookout for? Below is my current setting

Could be mac binding? You could also remove all WAN profiles and it would be in bridge by default. You'd need to set the VLAN on the main router though.

However if it says auth failure, would be a good idea to review the logs on the main router where the PPPoE auth is being done.

Dont think its mac-binding since I am able to switch ONT's.

I will review the logs once. Also the encapsulation mode in above screenshot should be PPPoE or IPoE?

No Problem here
