Comparison between TataSky and Big TV Packages

Hi Guys,

I hope you are aware that big tv has finally arrived. In this regard i think it would be good to the comparison between the TS and Big TV packages.....

In the web site i found our that Big TV is charging Rs. 40 per month for neo channels .......and also for Star Cricket and Tensports they charge Rs. 25 each for a month......

At the initial stages of package offers i believe that on alacarte basis with respect to sports channel i think TS is better than big tv
 
ya u right aju,neosports 40 rs per month.espn sports 1 plus, 40star cric ad tensports 25 news channels 25 and that is mees upANYTIME Tata Sky IS BETTER THAN BIGTV THE OFFER IS USELESS and no zeesports also. useless bigtv. ACCORDING TO ME.reply.
 
Well i feel the offer for south indians are great but as far as i am concerned the add on packs or top packs are costly compared to TS......... Personally i think if you wanted to have all the channels it will cost more than TS subscribers...... Can some one tell me what are the channels which are absent in TS which are present in Big TV........as far as tamil channels are concerned Big TV has got Raj TV, Isaiaruvi.........I think big tv will cost more than Rs. 450 if you wanted to have all the channels......:rofl:
 
ajuravi u r abosultely right it is bit costly but soon new channels will be added in bigtv like zeesports and zee next , zee 24 taas and many more. and there is a godd offer of movies pay rs 50 per month and get 40 movies per month new.
 
Its very good for North indians. I was having a look at starter pack 1,2,3. And i am amazed with the variety of channels included at such a low cost. It looks far far better than TS and Dish.
 
I think the big tv agenda is very simple they wanted to have new customers and thats the reason they are giving good offers for south indians but i think the customers will feel the pinch with respect to package cost after 1 yr.........

Regarding new channels i am sure they will surely add new channels........and with respect to movie offer it seems to be good too.......

Anyway lets see wait and watch for the big tv's future but i am sure the competition will heat up....... but my hope with big tv with respect to competition is ditched as i feel the package cost more when compared to Dish tv or TS........

The one good thing i come across in the initial stages of big tv launch is that of the smart south 2190 offer.......

i feel its the same be it Tata Sky or big tv its costing the same 300-350
I feel the same ........i had hoped that due to big tv launch TS and Dish TV might lower the package cost but i dont think now dish tv or TS will reduce their package rates now........:rofl:

My intial reaction with respect to package cost is wait and watch........bu i still feel the customer who wanted to shift from Dish TV or TS to Big TV they can shift as the launch offer is great.......

I mean it because if you go for smart south 2190 you get all the channels in that where if you are with TS or Dish TV i think as a south indian customer you might be paying atleast Rs. 2500 a year for package cost that you could invest for big tv and feel about big tv usage......

i wish bsnl had better iptv services in bangalore; i would have ditched TS by now...
 
I felt Reliance is not as bad as people are telling..atleast for northis.. But I just got confused..why have they included some news channel in diff packages and some in the basic packages..?
 
As am neither subscriber of Tata Sky nor big tv ..honestly am waiting for big tv not because i big fan of big tv or reliance adag or anil ambani .. but when ever reliance adag entered into any market they always bring the prices down and this is benificial to the customer .. the same we seens with reliance communication .. now we are getting free in coming call .. behind this major role of reliance is there as i feel they are the one who started the same ..any way better get back to our topic ..when i heard tata .. the first word keep in ma mind is quality .. they never compromise on the same and about reliance its quantity .. .. this is ma personal views no offence to others .. but reliance is always help to drag prices down and is hopeing there will be price war in DTH world ..I have seen the quality of the BIG tv and the same is quite well .. i can't compare the same with tata sky as not seen the same .. but it must be good ..will wait for few more days to go ahead with any of dth .. let them start the price war .. as this is benificial for customer only ..cheers ...
 
The channels list is not clear in Big TV you need dig into their website only from their package details you can collect the channel list........

As far as i am concerned i think the channels which are there in Big TV, TS has also got it only few tamil channels such as Raj TV, Isai aruvi which are present in Big TV are absent in TS. Zee Sports is also absent in big tv......... one more thing big TV is charging RS. 40 for ESPN - Star Sports, Rs. 40 for neo cricket and neo sports and Rs. 25 each Star Cricket and Ten Sports not only that if you choose these sports pack they lock you for 6 months period i believe......
