I recently installed Comodo Firewall on my Windows 7 package.Its a free firewall and voted the best.The reason I need a firewall besides windows firewall is so that I can have a complete control over which apps can access the internet.
I use my pc in bridge mode,since it is very convenient.When the firewall is on it does not allow any apps to connect to the internet(though I am able to dial the broadband connection),not even in the training mode.However when I disable the firewall,Firefox works except that the firewall does nothing.
When I installed the firewall it recognized the "Local Area Connection", but failed to recognize the "Wan Miniport" I use to dial the broadband connection.
Does anyone here know how to configure this software?
Is there any other better ,free Firewall available that is well suited for the job !!!
