Chunky voice chat even at 512 kbps.

I have 512 kbps broadband connection. Still voice chat in yahoo sucks. Its chunky and irritates me. I used to have only 64 kbps Internet connection from Connect and voice chat was flawless. Even though download speed is pretty good 55-65 kbps.Is there anything wrong with the settigs?Speedtest.net results>>>>>1. Ping 1012 ms , download speed 0.65 mbps , upload speed 0.10 mbps for Lahore server.2. Ping 125 ms, download speed 0.50 mbps, upload speed 0.33 mbps for Delhi server.3. PIng 114 ms, download speed 0.42 mbps, upload speed 0..35 mbps for Mumbai server.
 
Have you tried GTalk or Skype, does the voice skips in that too?
 
I have never tried gtalk or skype, all my buddies use yahoo.

I suggest you to test with Gtalk, for further diagnosis. I'm sure one (or all) of your friends would be having a google Id.
