Nolan is acting more and more like a tool. He got Tenet released the way he wanted and yet is like, nope. Also, his movies are becoming more and more non-sensical. And one thing he is never going to learn is how to do sound mixing. The guy who has mastered the art of making dialogues sound barely audible.

The project is meant to be a smaller-scale feature film for Nolan, which in his case, meant a production budget of around $100 million and an equal marketing spend, according to sources. He asked for total creative control, 20 percent of first-dollar gross, and a blackout period from the studio wherein the company would not release another movie three weeks before or three weeks after his release. And he asked for what insiders say was around a 100-day theatrical window. (Some sources have said the number was 110 days, with one person saying it was 130 days.) These were, in fact, many of the conditions Nolan was accustomed to enjoying at Warners.

Some of these demands are outrageous.

200 mn revenue for a Nolan movie shouldn't be difficult considering it is going to release somewhere in 2023-2024 after the Pandemic has possibly calmed down. The problem is his stupid demands like Studio cannot release a movie within 3 weeks before or after his movie or sharing 20% of the revenues or a theatrical run of 100-110 days. lol

Which means you would hope for it to make 500m at the very least 😁

Well, the guy managed to squeeze $350mn+ by releasing Tenet in theatres only right in the middle of the pandemic. No wonder studios are ready to bend over their back to get him. lol.
