this is kind of insane. just look at the size of the chip they managed to get into hardware purchased by Amazon and Apple type companies.

We are solely dependent on Chinese manufacturing be it telecom, electronics etc. And the country with the most stringent quality checks gets infiltrated, imagine where India stands now!

lol. we are more than happy to use devices made by china for all our personal communications.

from what i read of the article... consumer products were not affected. china specifically targeted corporate and government infrastructure. well... it's not exactly good news. but it does not seem like they are listening to my conversation around alexa yet.

Exactly! There are probably more interested in what our government is working or communicating, probably thru bsnl which has most of its equipment from either Huawei or zte.
