Not a reverse reverse sweep...eventually it becomes a regular EDGE shot, only that its deliberate EDGE done because ball had already reached the bat and that was only thing left to do.Reverse reverse sweep wud be when lefty batsman becomes righty and then reverse sweeps!
 
i guess this shot would soon become common with the adventurous players...
 
That videos is from 2009... so 2 yrs has passed, but no1 has tried it yet.If u see, its a just regular left hander EDGE shot... it is just initial bat dance that gives u feeling of a great shot!And why wud any1 try such shot on leg side, when leg side is naturally strong side? And there is better and easy shot is available to play ball to that fielding position on leg side.
 
Edge? I think its off the middle of the bat?
 

Ok - But you can get the intention of the shot.... it was an attempt for a reverse sweep modified to be an attempt for a push-like backward glance
 
yes, but batsman will not try that intentionally... they will only try it if reverse sweep attempt is going to fail because line was not exactly sweepable. and this shot is bound get u caught out or inside edge to stump because shot requires too much accuracy.otherwise backward glance can be more easily done with normal swing or push.
 
Morgan has always been a natural gifted player, But sad to see he didnt used it that much.Another thing, Those sick ad's covering the broadcast !
