ACT broadband comes 4th and will overtake MTNL to be 3rd next year. since Airtel also adding subscribers fast, it will take many years for ACT to overtake Airtel unless they upgrade their GB bandwidth per month offered similar to far better ACT hydrabad plans .(for example A-Max 1050 plan offering 100GB, @40 mbps in Hyderabad against 50GB @30 mbps for ACT Blaze plan @rs 1049 pm in Bangalore..same rental) and expand into more cities in central, west and north India.
Also as per news, Airtel will be upgrading and investing thousands of crores to upgrade to fiber optic in next 2-3 years to match ACT speed giving it tough competition.
