Our Bureau
New Delhi, Jan. 10 DTH company Tata Sky and Sun TV today informed the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal that the two have settled their differences over sharing of channels.
Tata Sky had in 2006 filed a case against Sun TV’s decision not to provide signals to the DTH operator on a contention that it was causing losses to the company.
The two media companies were in litigation in various courts for more than a year. And although a settlement had been reached in August last year, certain issues had cropped up again. In December 2007, the tribunal appointed former member Lt Gen D.P. Sehgal to facilitate negotiations between the two parties.
