Change vi number after activating hotstar vip sub possible?

As per the title is it possible to change number after activating Hotstar vip for 1 year through vi 401 inr pack. I intend to take a new vi sim to check the speeds and connectivity and also hotstar gives free upgrade to premium membership for existing vip users next month onwards. So if vi not giving intended speeds in my area i need to throw away the sim but i need to retain hotstar vip login and for that i need to change the vi number to my permanent number on my hotstar account. Anyone have any experience regarding this?
 
No, you need to be connected and paying customer.. Else it will disconnect automatically.
