So yeah! BSNL is testing CG-NAT on both Broadband and FTTH connections.

Here is a separate thread for the same.

I’m getting 10.XX gateway on my router.
And 54.XX as a public IP (on speedtest)

Here you go!

Remind us of where are you located? Still normal public dynamic IP for my BSNL FTTH connection here in Pune/Maharashtra.

I get either 117.x.x.x IP range or 103.x.x.x as usual.

Yeah click on "IPv4" or "WAN" on the left menu of your device, it should be there...

I’ll be able to see that tomorrow. Had to send my ONT to the vendor (Syrotech) as the voice was not working. But yes! It was different from the PUBLIC IP

Edit: I’m from a small town called Gadarwara in Madhya Pradesh

Found a screenshot.
IP Address: 10.91.144.x
Gateway: 10.91.144.x

Public IP: 117.xxx.xxx.xx

Don’t know if it’s CGNAT but this is what I had back in April.

Thanks @Nikhil Sharma, the reason I asked for the assigned IP address (and not just the gateway IP address) is cause in PPPoE, the gateway doesn't necessarily have to be on the same subnet, so you can still get a public IP and have a gateway IP address which is from a private range.

So just wanted to confirm that.

Luckily for me in Kerala, I still get assigned a public IP address which is same as the externally visible IP address.

MY old ONT didn’t show the assigned IP. But yes! I’ll be happy if they give me a public dynamic IP. Anyways let’s see.

Edit: Yes. It was in 10.XX range as shown in the screenshot.

Also, when I talked to the JTO he also asked me to get a static IP as they are implementing some changes.
