From yesterday morning I am getting SMS from cell broadcast 51 continuously and now I have received up to 1100 SMS




Raj nagar being the area where I live.
 
Try this:

Messaging - Three Dots - Cell Broadcasts - Three Dots - Settings - Untick everything.
 
Someone has turned on cell broadcast msg. By that you will receive a sms every few minutes telling you to which cell site you are connected to

@aviral I am receiving 2-3 SMS every minute since yesterday, any way to turn it off? I don't want to install SMS blocker apps.
 
Is it happening at particular area or it happens at other locations too?

Any other person you know using the same service provider in the same location? If yes, see if they are facing the same issue.
 
Weird that it stopped after installing latest CM11 nightly, had installed a nightly yesterday but didn't think that it is a rom related issue.
 

I just now got 15 such message. Mine is Cell Broadcast Channel 50. I got CM11 7 days older.
