So... Anyone has any idea what Sterling Cellular is? Seems to be connected to Essar :
Google tells me that this company existed in 1998 and provided services in Delhi
I mean are you a Vodafone customer?

Yes I am a Vodafone customer. Incidentally, I received this news from some one on another forum. He had Idea Cellular written instead of Sterling.

So Sterling is connected to Essar which is of course Vodafone today.

I have a feeling that this is one of the reasons why Google Play Store is not being rolled out officially in India yet. They are testing this implementation.

That was the name of the company when it was formed in 1992 according to Wikipedia. And their BIS web portal is still hutch.blackberry.com :blink:
