Its since iOS 13. Hope they add the esim in this.
 
eSIM - The new version of no physical sim. iPhone XR has it. Jio & vodafone have this option. But you need to visit the gallery to activate it.
 
I know what an eSim is. Using Airtel’s eSim since 2018.

But Vodafone, but only Jio & Airtel supports it.

For Airtel: It’s done without visiting their store.

For Jio: You have to visit the store.
