hi i am using UT300R2U adsl2+ router. i cant find virtual server setup option to port forward, which is normally said to be avail under option advance setup -> NAT for this type of router. but under mine NAT option it has 1ly DMZ host...no virtual server setup and port triggering option customer care people dont have any idea of this and they just disconnect the line.... hw to rectify this prob so that i can port forward and use utorrent and misc efficiently....

please see my reply in thread "portforwarding UT330R2U"

i read it....but i am not sure hw to make out a static ip....r i may be in with a static ip.... portforward.com gives in details but my prob is there is no such virtual server setup menu available under advanced in mine....

I use UT-300R2U and i have a virtual server in advanced configuration.....post a screenshot of "advanced" page.

this is my adv setup page ---> nat

1ly dmz host is present no virtual server setup r port triggering option

hi guys.....

yes u people are facing same old prob like mine...but i have rectified it....actually newly given UT300R2u doesn have virtual server setup.... there's another way to get ALL NETWORK CONNECTIONS ARE FINE IN torrents clients u use to get full speed... follow the procedure stated below...

start -> run -> cmd (xp)
know ur system ip address by typing ipconfig ...since bsnl it must be 192.168.1.x (above 3)
go to IE http://192.168.1.1
(router config page opens after typing admin, admin)
there advanced -> NAT -> dmz host
there type in ur ip address as found in cmd click save/apply this doesnt require reboot r any...just restart ur torrent client....

now ENJOy the best of speed
