Cannot connect Internet in PPPOE mode???

I'm having 256KBPS UL Internet connection with UT300R2U Modem. Now I connecting to Internet using Bridge mode. I'm not able to connect via PPPOE mode.I have tried resetting the modem also.Please help me in connecting to Internet in PPPOE mode.Also I want to use always on internet connection on my computer i.e..., I do not want to use dailer. Please provide detailed setting of UT300R2U Modem to set username and password in it only.

I tried in IE.
For PPPoE mode uncheck "bridged" in your modem WAn page.
Select PPP/PPPoE enter userID without @ bsnl.in Password
"alwayson " Idle time 0 SAVE and reboot ( wait two to three minutes )

Para two:
I am using MT882. But every time the modem is switched off
and again activated, I have to open IN IE the Summary Page, and
click the NOTE button against 0_35 to make the Icon Green.
Then only i am connected.
If"Bridged" dialer Mode no problem appears green.
( Not sure only in my modem this is the problem, and I have not
tried to upg the FW)

i did exactly same but i noticed no internet connectioneventhough adsl light is in orange colour but no connectionand also icon is missing on the tool bar

I did exactly same......no internet connection
May be Calcutta Telephones web site instructions are not correct !!
1Report the Diagnostics page result. USB/OAM(2) fail Ok.
2In summary page give data for snr attn line speed and mod selected.
3From computer: Start/ RUN/ type cmd type ipconfig/all Post data.
