Can I sell old Technicolor router from Hathway?

Docsis 3.1 is what companies have adopted in US and EU. It is capable of downstreaming 10Gbps and is more power efficient.
Upgradration of Infrastructure costs a lot so i don't think that there is a company in india who has adopted it. Even hathway is going fiber in newer areas.
I read few weeks ago that even comcast in US has still not upgraded to 3.1 in all their regions.

Few months back I read somewhere that Hathway is planning for Docsis 3.1 so that they can offer 150

I read that too but no development since then, their cc has no idea and they are going fiber in new places.

What wire are they using: Ethernet or Cable to give at home?

Just make a thread on this site and ask who has Hathway 100mbps or above, they will tell you about the ethernet/pics.
Any place where there are offering more than 50mbps is using fiber.
In delhi i think moti bagh has 150mbps plans with fiber. Bangalore and new places all have fiber.
