Can I connect TPLINK ADSL Router to Netlink GPON Fiber ?

I recently got BSNL Bharat Fiber Connection. I used to have BSNL Broadband Connection before via " TP-LINK TD-W8961N 300Mbps fixed Antenna Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router" Picture of its ports ( https://i.ibb.co/5FdLcsX/chrome-uyi-Oqcc-MSS.png ).

Now BSNL provided NetLink HG323RGW GPON ONT.

I want to connect this GPON ONT with my TP-Link ADSL2+ router so that I can extend my wifi range.

Is it possible? How shall I connect two routers ? Would RJ45 cable be enough ?

@mahadevan_iyer , congrats on your new connection.

Short answer is Yes. eg: You can set the same wifi access point name, on Netlink to say channel 1 and and TP-Link to say channel 6. And disable dhcp on tp link. Ideally, one should use a 5 ghz dual band router for fiber connection. My old 2.4 ghz tplink router would not give more than 55 mbps speed.

One needs an ethernet cable.
