Range depends on number of walls plus how good router is.the first router i got was able to cross 3 walls. (abt 15mtrs)unluckily it went faulty after 1yr and replacement i got was able to cross just 2 walls. (abt 8-9 mtrs)
i ll recomend better get ur own one like D-Link 2750 for Rs.2300+ with 3yr warranty. mtnl router sucks range wise, also ull have to pay 800 one time non refundable + Rs.75 monthly rental.
Submitted the form today and they have already taken 1000 cash from me. I wonder how much more will I be charged for the entire installation/setup process.
Got the router installed today afternoon. At the moment my phone, my tablet, my laptop and my mom's phone are connected. 😀So I'm now satisfied. 4 simultaneous connections (maybe more, I haven't tested yet) is pretty good.
A minimum SNR of around 6 dB is required for a stable sync at 1mbps, provided attenuation is reasonable. So anything > 30 is beyond awesome 😀 Attenuation < 20 is considered good 😉
