can anyone please tell me the settings of smartax mt841 modem.my present tcp/ip configuration isip:192.168.1.2subnet:255.255.255.0gateway:192.168.1.1dns:192.168.1.1manually configured is theconfiguration ok?i am able to acess the internet at 256kbps speedssometimes i click on automatically obtain ip and dns and the same configuration automatically appearsonly the ip changes from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.3 please reply

^ the above settings are correct in general . for the DNS entries , one may have different values ...

sometimes i change my lan ip while configuring manually like sometimes it is .3 or .9 or.2 will any network problem will occur due to that sometimes i use dns 192.168.1.1 or 61.1.96.71 and .69

because you change the LAN IP to .3 or .9
