I want to Use Tata Sky Digicomp simple Set top box for my cable line. I do not want to purchase new one.Is there a way to reset TataSky set top box so as I can get all the channels given by my cable operator.

No. Not possible as Tata Sky STB uses tuner which supports higher frequencies, while Cable (Digital) uses lower frequency. Besides all chipset used inside for decoding uses logic applied for Satellite reception, while Digital Cable uses different logic, so it will not work on Satellite STB like Tatasky (or any other STB provided by another DTH operator).

Cable STBs use DVB-C technology while DTH uses DVB-S techonology. So, your wish may not be fulfilled.

also the bw is encrypted and the VC and stb are paired, no chance. however i would not be surprised if anyone springs any solution as NDS encryptes for both Tata Sky and many cable boxes
