Bytes Transfer Without Access of Net

I am Using Bsnl Broadband since 1st April 2008. I am facing a problem which is if I am not surfing on the net even though bytes are sent receives automatically. if there is a idle connection in 5 minutes there will be a transfer of 50 MB automatically so please help is this virus of BSNL Problem I am using ZTE 831 Wireless Modem.Mihir.
 
@/members/mihirmakadia/Welcome to Broadbandforum.in.if you have too many programs with auto update , in your computer ( example Windows Automatic Update ), this could happen. Disable all of them. ( except AV & firewall )Use this meter to check the download/upload details. homepages.paradise.net.nz/link/tbm ( add http)Check your usage with / DQUF from sunish.net. ( add http)Run AV and antispyware programs. may take upto one hour .Give feedback for more suggestion/s from other members.
 
Is your connection bridged..if not,then this is common problem.........make sure your router is bridged else you'll be charged unnecessarily for bandwidth usage !!!🙂
